The one room in the house that generates the most amount of waste is definitely the kitchen. It is a breeding ground for numerous opportunities to recycle. One of those opportunities is with your water. The cooking water from boiling pasta, eggs or produce can be repurposed. And, if you use a bowl of water to rinse off your fruits and vegetables instead of letting the water just run from the faucet, you can then put it to good use, as well. Start storing the water from these sources in a container and re-using it to water your plants.
