Benefits of a Community Garden
Gardening is good for you and so is eating the food you grow. Get together with a few neighbors or friends who are willing to put in the time and effort needed and create a community garden for everyone to work on and share the harvest. It's a simple process, just pick a spot, and determine whether everyone will have their own plot or if it will be a big group effort. Pick your plants, pool your resources (money, tools, supplies) and get digging. Create a schedule to determine who will be responsible for what and when they need to do it; be sure to take advantage of everyones unique skills and knowledge. Share the harvesting duties and the bounty you get from it and enjoy!
