    Adventure Backpack




    Get your kids outside and exploring all that nature has to offer with their very own adventure backpack!

    Supplies:

    DIY Backpack:
  • canvas or duck cloth cut to 12” x 35” for an EASY to create DIY Backpack.
  • for straps 23” x 3” piece of same material
  • canvas for front pockets (optional)
    (can also use a ready made backpack if you don’t want to create one from scratch)


    Bug Jar:
  • pint or jelly jars
  • sticker paper
  • window screen

    Nature Press:
  • cardboard
  • newsprint
  • thin plywood or cigar box
  • small bungee cord

    Sifter:
  • window screen
  • small wooden picture frame

    Other Materials:
  • stapler
  • hot glue gun
  • tin snips
  • spray paint (optional, use with stencils for designs on created backpack)
  • Fill your bag with: magnifying glass, butterfly net, compass, gloves, hat or visor, sunglasses, personalize it to your child’s personality
