Step 1: Empty Frame and Branches

Start filling an empty wooden frame with an assortment of branches cut to the desired length.

Step 2: Embellish

Branches can be painted or woodburned with designs/sayings. Simply shave away a portion of the bark and use your woodburner in the exposed area. A computer printout of your text and tracing paper will give your lettering a more polished look.

Step 3: Glue to Frame

Using a high temp glue gun and wood glue sticks, glue your branches into the recessed groove on the backside of your frame.

Step 4: Hang and Enjoy!

This quick and easy art project is ready to hang and enjoy. You can play around with a variety of different looks and styles using nothing more than empty frames and branches from the backyard.
