    Waxed Paper Press

Another fun, quick way to dry leaves is with your iron and ironing board. Place a sheet of waxed paper on your ironing board, place a leaf on top and cover with another piece of waxed paper. Press with a dry medium heat iron. (You can place a light towel in between the waxed paper and iron, if desired) Press evenly and continue ironing until all the moisture is out of the leaf. (Most flower petals do not work well using this technique because they will stick to the waxed paper and become too thin and fragile from this type of pressing.) Let your leaf completely cool before removing the paper.

    Supplies:

  • light towel (optional)
