    Underground Fountain




    Now you see it, now you don't. A clever fountain project that will have your guests scratching their heads.If you have an old or new 18 gallon storage tote sitting around unused, grab your shovel and dig a hole to get the look of a buried spring in your yard.

    Supplies:

  • 18 gallon storage tote or larger (Sheila recommends not using totes smaller than 18 gal.)
  • An assortment of river rocks ranging from small to large
  • Decorative element such as a sulpture or statue to sit at the top of the disappearing fountain
  • Drill with 1/4 inch drill bit
  • Air conditioner filter cut to the size of your tote lid
  • Submersible pump with adjustable water flow
  • 1/4 inch plastic tubing (or tubing sized according to the pump you are using)
