    Vegetable Broth




    A healthy, delicious vegetable stock can be yours in a short amount of time. It can be used to saute, turned into soups, sauces and more!

    Supplies:

  • Juicer (Use an electric juicer to run vegetables through. Look for second-hand juicers to buy inexpensively.)
  • Carrots
  • Bell peppers
  • Celery
  • Onions
  • Mushrooms
  • Tomatoes
  • 8 ounce can of tomato paste
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • 4 whole cloves of garlic
  • 8 cups of water
  • Large stockpot
  • Fresh herbs (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Quart size canning jars and lids
  • Canner

  • Step 1

    Juice

    Step 2

    Pour

    Step 3

    Add Spices

    Step 4

    Boil Mix

    Step 5

    Boil Jars

    Step 6

    Boil Lids

    Step 7

    Pour Into Jars...

    Step 8

    Remove Jars

    Step 9
