Treehouses may seem like big projects, but when you shrink them
down to a smaller scale they can be a lot of fun for you and your kids. Encourage kids to get outside and explore. A miniature treehouse is the perfect playful destination. They can be built out of scrap lumber you have lying around and can be tailored to suit your skills, supplies and time. Feel free to make any substitutions to the supply list in order to make it work with what you have. It's meant to be a fun, unintimidating project. Rustic, imperfect designs add to the charm of this type of structure, and the more you can get the kids involved in the process the better. These small-scale houses can attach to, or by a tree in the yard and the kids will have ongoing fun accessorizing and embellishing. Come on, let's play!!!!!
