To get the look that your blooms are embedded in glass, adhere your flower or leaf to a canvas or piece of wood with matte medium. When it is dry, pour a self-leveling gel on the top (this is also called pouring medium). Place your piece on a mirror or glass to catch the drips as the pouring medium continues to level itself off. Place a box or lid over the canvas to keep dust and debris out of the pouring gel as it dries. The drying process will take two or three days.
